Recharge And Try Again
Some days life rolls along smooth as silk, you know you are on the right path, and you are sure you have all your ducks in a row…
Then you wake up another day and second guess yourself, your ducks seem to have gone rogue and are wandering all over hell’s half acre!
As you wrangle them in, you wonder…what am I doing…and why!
Put the brakes on woman.
Anxiety is just trying to grab some attention.
Time to take a step back and recharge.
I watch a few creative people on youtube, and I found one the other night that made me take notice and say OMG….she’s having the same day I am!!
She is a lovely British woman (Sparrows End Business. She shows how she makes money online). She speaks from the heart and is just a very real down to earth person, talking to her viewers like she is with them having a cup of tea. It’s so refreshing.
And comforting knowing that I’m not the only creative that loses her ducks sometimes…lol
I don’t comment on youtube much, but felt the need to.
She was also feeling overwhelmed and unsure of herself.
So I let her know I enjoyed her channel, and appreciated her never give up attitude, even when feeling low.
I ended by saying thanks and hugs from across the pond in Canada.
Well you know what, being the genuine kind person she is, she answered back.
She thanked me for my comment, saying she was excited to know she had a viewer in Canada.
And there you go…two people being kind to each other and feeling all the better for it!
This was great, but I also know when I need to recharge I have to do more.
So I have found these things work for me. Sometimes I need to do quite a few of them, and other times one or two and I’m good to go.
Ways to Recharge
* Get away from the desk/computer, detach from the techno for a bit. Even if it’s just to make dinner or clean the bathroom…lol
* Go for a walk. For me, in the woods is the trick. Listen to the birds sing and the leaves rustle in the breeze.
* Make a list of what needs to be done and cross off what gets accomplished. It’s best for my brain when it starts to wander off in all directions.
* Listen to music. Give your mind some allowed wandering time.
* Remind yourself to let go of past mistakes. New day, new start!
*Learn to rest not to quit.
That’s it for today, I hear the woods calling me to come for a walk.
Life Experience Wisdom
* Be kind to yourself by being kind to others.
* Rest. Don’t quit. A new day means new opportunities to try again!
As always, thanks for visiting!
