You Are What You Believe Yourself To Be

I absolutely love this message!

To me it brings positive thinking and gratitude together like a big warm hug!

But I’ve known others that think it is nonsense.  This person was also someone that was a “habitual negative thinker.”  Everything always went wrong for this guy, so he thought.  And he was right!  Life lemons were drawn to him like magnets!

I tried explaining the theory of thinking positive and positive will come back to you, but I was met with ridicule.

I swear he enjoyed wallowing in his misery on some odd level.  He would actually get grumpy at me when positive things happened for me!

Yeah….that didn’t work for me…bye bye….lol

Why think in a negative way?!  I don’t get it.

Why not concentrate on the positive and see what happens!

For Example

When I was ready to date again after negative nelly guy, my smart cookie wise for her years daughter said to me…”Mom, get what you want in a guy, don’t settle”  Good advice!

So I set out in a positive mindset to get what I wanted.

And low and behold I did get it!  We get along like too peas in a pod.

I believed I was good enough and worthy to get what I wanted.

If you are dealing with self esteem issues at this very moment…then I want you to ditch the negative and replace the thought with a positive one right now!

You have to believe that you are enough, you are worthy and you are deserving of good things to come to you.

It takes practice, so don’t give up, just keep moving forward one step at a time.

Believe it like it has already happened and be grateful.

See what happens!  What have you got to lose?!

If you believe it won’t happen, then guess what… You’re right…It won’t!

And I know this all too well…

Negative Attracts Negative

For practice say this over and over throughout your day…

I am what I believe myself to be

I am enough

I am worthy

I deserve good things to come to me

*  Don’t be a negative nelly wallower.

*  Ditch the negative thoughts and replace with positive ones.

*   Repeat positive messages to yourself daily.

*  Always remember…You are what you believe yourself to be!
