I’ll Be Happy When…

I think at some point in our lives we have all thought or said…”I’ll be happy when…(fill in the blank).

When I get a new job, new home, or the latest gadget.

But the fact is if you spend time waiting for that moment like some giant glitter bomb to go off above you, you will just be wasting time!

Time that you could have spent appreciating what you do have, therefore becoming happier!

To be clear…there is nothing wrong with wanting more!  Just be thankful for what you already have at this point and time in your life.

It’s a big life lesson learned when you appreciate and focus on what you have, instead of what you don’t have.

Happiness isn’t the grand prize at the end of a journey.

It’s all the steps that you take to get there, all the minor things along the way.

there is no way to happiness,
happiness is the way quote

Learn to be happy and appreciate what you do have in your life to attract even more of the good stuff.

Happiness comes from being content in the moment.  Along with that is the added benefit of reduced stress. When you focus and become grateful for what you have, you are not focusing on the future and the what if’s.  One step at a time, don’t let the what if’s get to you.

As the saying goes “There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.”

Life lessons don’t have to be rocket science as I’ve said before, just a little common sense.

Try it…start focusing on and being grateful for what you have and see if your happiness level improves!

It has become a no brainer for me, bringing me an inner peace, and I hope if you struggle with this, that life becomes easier for you too.
