The Future is Calling!

The Future is Calling!

I was rifling through my collection of papers and article ideas the other day and came across a list of questions about the future, so let’s do that today.

The idea is to write out the questions, answer them, and look back in 10 years,

(if you can find the damn paper!) and reflect on the then and now.

It should be a fun little exercise.  Play along if you are feeling it.

In 10 years I will….

Be Driving:

The car I have now, me and little “Giddy Up” will be together until I can’t tell the difference between the black squirrels running across the road…and the black eye floaties that appear out of nowhere!

(google eye floaties if need be…lol)

Be Focused on:

Prunes and Metamucil.

Be Celebrating:

Waking up every day.

Be Living in:

Hopes and dreams of my lottery win.

Be Working as:

A Wally World greeter.  If they can stand there doing nothing and get paid for it…so can I!

Be Interested in:

Finding products with easy to open lids.

Be Needing:

A new hip, knees, or any other assorted changeable part.

Be Learning:

How to work the latest creative editing computer program.

Be a Successful:

Old person on a frugal budget.

Be Serious About:

Taking enough naps in a day.

Be Having Fun With:

My kids, Granddaughter, my Dude and of course Bestie J!

Be On The Path To:

The Bone Yard!

Ok..the answers are a result of about four hours sleep, but you get the idea!

A little mindful reflection is a good idea, so try it yourself!

(I’m going to do this again after some sleep!)

Life Experience Wisdom

*  Take time in the day for mindful reflection about your life.

*  Get yourself a folder to keep with your document files and label it…

(Odd Stuff I Want to Keep in a Safe Place)

That’s it for this week, I need a nap!

Thanks for visiting, cheers til next time

My Motto

When life throws baseball size lemons at you, that smack you upside the head, stomp on those damn things and make yourself a cocktail!
