You Are Not Your Mistakes

You Are Not Your Mistakes

We all make mistakes in life.  No one gets through life without them.

The trick is to not let them define who we are.

We have to realize that mistakes are part of learning and growing, and shouldn’t be used to measure our worth.

Always remember mistakes are actions and not who we are.  We can make mistakes, but that in no way means we are the mistake.

Once again you have to change up your mindset from saying things like, “You either win or lose” to “You either win or learn” instead.

Think of mistakes as a way to push you to deal with a weakness you may have, or a challenge that you can improve on.

And you will learn about your patience, resilience and the ability to get back on your feet.

You will likely be better able to understand the struggles of someone else, making you more empathetic, and we could sure use more of that in the world!

If you are willing to look past mistakes in those around you, then why shouldn’t you be able to cut yourself some slack at the same time?

Life is all about making mistakes, it’s how we grow as humans.

Start embracing a mindset that allows you to make mistakes and not put yourself down for it.

A mistake doesn’t have to be a bad thing, instead make it a learning thing.

You will be far happier when you believe mistakes are part of life, something you can get past and not something that you are stuck with.

You are more than your mistakes, always remember that!
