Embrace Your Life Regret Free
I’m going to take a page from Bestie J’s hand book of life and make this week’s article about living regret free.
Life is too short to look back and wonder about the negative “what if’s” in your life.
Take all the negative what ifs like the job, the relationships, friendships, travel etc, whatever your regret may be about, I want you to toss these thoughts in the trash can part of your brain.
Now let’s figure out how to live without regrets instead shall we!
Mindset Shift for Personal Growth
Regret stalls our personal growth.
It keeps us stuck in the past, and we want to grow forward.
So once again I want you to concentrate on a mindset shift. View mistakes as learning experiences instead of failures. Try to catch yourself when you think of something negative, and right away think of a positive to counteract it.
Emotional Well Being
Regret weighs a ton!
It’s a heavy weight to carry around with us, leading to stress and anxiety.
Let go of this crippling weight, live in the moment. Take one day at a time.
The actual fear of regret keeps us from trying new things. So set goals and work them. Even if things don’t work out, it’s better to try and know you took a chance instead of being held back by fear.
And always remember to learn from the experience, which makes it a win and not a failure anyway!
Contentment from Gratitude
Show gratitude every day!
And the last is my favourite. Letting go of regret, cutting yourself some slack, frees up head space for you to focus on the positive parts of your life.
Living without regret doesn’t mean your life will be all roses and rainbows perfect, but living a more positive life though gratitude, will give you a sense of peace and acceptance.
Wouldn’t that be a wonderful thing to strive for!
We could all use that.
So let go of the old regret mindset, it no longer serves you.
Open up your life, be courageous enough to show gratitude for what you have, living in the present.
Start exploring and working on a future you can be proud of, and look back on with no regrets.
Whatever your age!
Life Experience Wisdom
* Living with regret is a waste of time, and no longer serves you.
* Live in the moment, work on creating a positive life growing forward at any age!
That’s it for this week,
Get out and be amazing!
Cheers til next week,
Grace
My Motto
When life throws baseball size lemons at you, that smack you upside the head, stomp on those damn things and make yourself a cocktail!
