Mother Nature Good For What Ails You!
A walk in the woods…
To release the stress
And revive the spirit
Do you ever have that feeling that you are missing something and not be able to put your finger on it. That’s what I’ve been feeling for a while now. But I did finally figure out that what I was missing was my visits with Mother Nature and my walks in the woods.
It’s my go to when I need to clear my head.
Not only does it clear my head, but it gets me moving and I seem to be able to get more accomplished in a day, if I get out for a walk.
The trails will soon be drying up enough to be able to get back walking in the woods without the fear of slip sliding away in the mud.
That first spring walk in the woods is like a dose of happy that fills up the soul, pushing out any stress your body is holding on to.
I stand with my eyes closed and take in the sunshine, a light breeze and of course the birds singing.
Mother Nature says welcome to my home!

You can feel the embrace of the new green leaves around you as you walk, as they emerge for another season, it’s like receiving a hug from Mother Nature.
This is also known as “forest bathing.” It is widely accepted as a form of physical, mental and emotional healing.
It is easy to do, so give it a try and see how you feel.
Leave your head phones at home, just wander in the woods, relax and don’t be in a hurry.
Let the stress fall away.
Stop and look at the greenery, the wild flowers, the tree bark every once in a while. Mother Nature creates some beautiful woodland art! You just have to slow down enough to appreciate it.
Or sit for a while on a rock or a stump to listen to the birds singing.
Let your mind wander and be grateful in the moment. Accept and enjoy the peace you are feeling.
So if you are looking for a healing routine that is easy on the body, try a mindful walk in the woods.
Let Mother Nature help heal your soul.
