Gratitude Every Day!
With Thanksgiving around the corner here in Canada, I think this week I’ll keep it simple and give a list of things I’m thankful for.
I think being grateful or thankful for things shouldn’t just be a Thanksgiving time kind of thing, but a daily habit. To begin or end your day giving thanks for even the smallest things in your life can start or end your day in a positive peaceful way.

So here are a few of mine.
- As always I’m thankful for family and friends in my life. Always supportive even when I take a zigzag in the road that is my life.
- A roof over my head and food in my belly.
- Legs that work to get me out walking and spending time in the woods or along the bay.
- Books to read, hobbies that keep my brain working.
- The interwebs, what would I do without that!
- Sunshine and cool temperature days to walk through the crunchy leaves in the fall.
- Snowstorms to watch the fluffy snow fall in the winter.
- Warm spring days to look for fresh green sprouts and listen for the first robins.
- Summer days to get out early before the heat hits, and enjoy the day at its most calm and peaceful. If I’m lucky, a thunderstorm to watch.
- And lastly I’m thankful for all I’ve pushed myself to learn over the last few years. Making journals and doing this blog. It has showed me I’m capable of doing what I set my mind to.
I am stronger than I ever thought possible and I’m still learning and trying new things!

Life Experience Wisdom
* Be thankful and show gratitude every day.
* Start a list and write down something that you are thankful for every day.
* Never stop trying new things that you may be able to put on your gratitude list.
That’s it for my list.
What’s on your list?
